The 2M2 Magic Tank 2 Pro Key Cutting Machine has recently introduced an upgraded clamp: Clamp B, which replaces the older Clamp A. Both clamps are compatible with the 2M2 machine, but for new users, we recommend using Clamp B for optimal performance.
This guide will walk you through the steps to select the correct clamp option and calibrate your 2M2 Magic Tank for the first time. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Selecting the Correct Clamp Option
- Install the Clamp: Securely attach the clamp to your 2M2 Magic Tank machine.
- Access the MagicTank App: Open the app and navigate to:
Settings >> Clamp Options >> Clamp B >> Confirm.
(Note: For new users, always select Clamp B.) - Start the Machine: Once the clamp option is selected, the 2M2 Magic Tank will begin operating.

Step 2: Calibrating the 2M2 Magic Tank for the First Time
- Access Calibration Settings: Go to:
Settings >> Calibration. - Key Blank Installation: To demonstrate the correct installation of a key blank, press the “GIF” button.
(Example: The calibration uses a HON66 key blank. The 25# key blank is reusable.) - Confirm and Start: Press “Confirm” to initiate the calibration process.
- Review Calibration Data: Once completed, the machine will display a detailed calibration record, including:
- X/Y direction data
- CXY/CXY2 data
- mShoulderX/mShoulderX2 data
