How to Cut Buick GM39 Keys with 2M2 Tank 2 Pro (All Keys Lost)

Step 1: Power On and Connect the Machine

 

1. Power on the 2M2 Tank 2 Pro key cutting machine.
2. Open the MagicTank App on your device and connect the machine via Bluetooth.

Step 2: Select the Vehicle and Key Type

1. Click on the “All Keys Lost” option in the app.
2. Search for the vehicle “Buick” and select it.
3. Input the code “1899” (this is the default code for Buick GM39).
4. Click “Search” and select GM39 from the results.

Step 3: Install the Key Blank

1. The app will display a guiding picture showing how to install the key blank on the machine.
2. Install the flat key blank on the right side of the machine.
   • Important: Follow the instructions carefully for stable and accurate cutting.
3. Step-by-step installation:
   • Place the key blank in Position B as shown in the guiding picture.
   • Align the tip of the key blank with the 1st line on the machine.
   • Clamp the key blank securely.
   • Use the screw to fix the key blank in place as shown in the guiding picture.

Step 4: Start Cutting the Key

1. Once the key blank is properly installed, click “OK” -> “Continue” -> “Cut”.
2. The 2M2 Tank 2 Pro will automatically start cutting the key.
   • The cutting process takes approximately 1 minute.

 

Step 5: Remove and Test the Key

1. When the cutting is complete, remove the key from the machine.
2. Test the key by inserting it into the lock and turning it.
   • If the key turns smoothly and opens the lock, the cutting process is successful.
